Eden Hazard is finally hitting the levels of productivity that all Chelsea fans have been waiting to see from him since he signed for the club back in 2012 – and we’re absolutely loving it.

Hazard started the season in electric fashion, positioning himself at the top of the Premier League goal-scoring charts early on. The goals may have dried up a little, but with the amount of assists he’s been getting, we’ll let him off.

The Belgian turned our clash with Liverpool on it’s head early in our Carabao Cup campaign with a stunning goal to win it with five minutes left on the clock. He replicated those heroics tonight against Bournemouth.

Hazard’s goal wasn’t one you’ll see included in any highlight reels of his, but they all count. It was also another direct goal contribution, which further reaffirms his position as the best player in the Premier League.

We used to cite his mazy dribbling skills and overall influence as the reason why he was the best, but now he is producing the numbers to back it up. See the below stat that Opta shared following the game.

If this continues throughout the course of the season, Hazard is going to be in with a chance of winning the end of season accolades – and we’ll have a tough time keeping him out the clutches of Real Madrid.
