Eden Hazard was at his scintillating best against Brighton, leading Chelsea to a resounding win against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
The Belgian broke the deadlock inside three minutes and from then on was too much to handle for the Seagulls.
Hazard attacked the home side’s defence at will along with Willian, who put Chelsea 2-0 up in seven minutes with a magnificent team goal.
The only way Brighton could stop Hazard was simply by fouling him. On the rare occasion where our opponents backed off the winger, they were made to pay as Hazard killed the game off with our third goal in the latter stages of the match.
After his dominating individual display, the 27-year-old gave a young fan who was sitting with the home supporters his jersey. A class gesture from by far the best player on the pitch.
What a guy.
