We have an update to bring you on Chelsea’s injury situation ahead of our clash with Manchester City courtesy of Physio Room.
The Premier League champions pay a visit to the Etihad to lock-horns with the champions-elect. We face the possibility of finishing the weekend five-points outside of the top four if we suffer defeat against Pep Guardiola’s men.
It is very much a must-win game on the home turf of one of the greatest teams in Premier League history. It’s not going to be easy, and unfortunately for Antonio Conte, he has four injury issues to contend with ahead of the game.
Physio Room believe that Barkley has successfully recovered from a hamstring injury and is subsequently available for selection for our trip to Manchester.
It remains to be seen if Conte will allow Barkley, fresh back from injury, to play a part in such a competitive fixture.
Tiemoue Bakayoko, David Luiz and Ethan Ampadu
Tiemoue Bakayoko, David Luiz and Ethan Ampadu will all miss Sunday’s game, according to Physio Room.
It’s reported that Bakayoko and David Luiz are carrying respective ‘knocks’, whereas Ampadu has an injured hamstring.
Get well soon, lads!
