Nico Gonzalez from Barcelona’s La Masia academy has emerged as a target for several Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Mundo Deportivo reports.
Despite the player’s father Fran Gonzalez being a former-City player, Chelsea and Arsenal also have just as much interest in the player.
As per Mundo Deportivo, the best offers the player has recieved are from the two London clubs. However, the teenager’s future remains in the balance for the time being.
Who is Nico Gonzalez?

The technical and physical midfielder is part of one of the most prestigious youth academy’s in football. Players like Lionel Messi and Andreas Iniesta have come through this set ups and look where they are now.
Gonzalez will be hoping to follow the footsteps of these two greats. At the moment, the player born in 2002 is part of Spain’s U16 team.
The Spaniard’s mature attitude will also be beneficial if he decides to join Chelsea.
