Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is reportedly set to return to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Wednesday.
Courtois has explaining to do. He was due to return to Chelsea training on Monday, alongside compatriots Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi.
He opted against doing so, instead skipping training in hope of forcing through a transfer to Real Madrid. He may well get his wish, but at the expense of any respect Chelsea fans still had for him.
Courtois is also likely to get an earfull from Maurizio Sarri and co when he returns to Cobham tomorrow.
The Mirror claim that he is (finally) set to report to the training ground, despite remaining on the verge of joining Real Madrid.
With Chelsea seemingly on the verge of signing Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao. Courtois will soon be a distant memory among the Chelsea faithful.
At this point, we have absolutely no problem with him leaving.
