Michy Batshuayi will have been asking head coach Antonio Conte plenty of questions after the Belgian came out of the blocks in his opening game for Borussia Dortmund.
Batshuayi, who was sent out on loan to the Bundesliga side by the Blues on January transfer deadline day, featured with a brace and an assist against FC Koln.
The first of the Belgian’s goals came midway through the first half as Batshuayi’s poaching instincts gave Dortmund the lead.
After an equaliser from the home side, Batshuayi put his team back in front two minutes later. The 24-year-old was quick to snatch on his opportunity as goalkeeper Timo Horn was slow to react.

However, Koln pegged back Dortmund once again. Until the 84th minute when former-Chelsea man Andre Schurrle scored the winning goal with this thunderous strike.
Batshuayi was maybe fortunate to get this assist as it was mainly the German international’s work that led to the goal.
GOAL! @Andre_Schuerrle
