Chelsea predicted XI vs. Everton: Barkley could pay the price for lacklustre performances

Chelsea host Everton at Stamford Bridge tomorrow afternoon, and we’re going to have a punt at predicting Maurizio Sarri’s starting eleven for the game.

Sarri fielded a heavily rotated side against BATE Borisov in Belarus on Thursday night. The Italian saw it as an opportunity to rest some of the key figures of the squad, but Eden Hazard was involved from the beginning.

Hazard is coming back from an injury and needed minutes on the pitch. We think it likely that he’ll get more against Everton, though it’s still unclear whether the Belgian is in good enough shape to play 90 minutes.

Ross Barkley was our star performer throughout October, but his performances have tailed off as we’ve headed into a new month. Mateo Kovacic, who only played half an hour against BATE, looks set to start in this one.

The rest of the team essentially picks itself. The only question is whether Willian or Pedro will start out on the right-hand-side. We’ve gone for the latter, following his goal against Palace last weekend.

Here’s how we predict Chelsea will lineup in full. What do you think, Blues?
