Cesc Fabregas admitted last night that he threw a pizza at one of the greatest managers in the game Sir Alex Ferguson as The Sun reports.

This was after Manchester United beat Arsenal 2-0 back in October 2004, ending the Gunners’ 49-match unbeaten streak.

However, no one could put their finger on which member of the Arsenal squad on that night threw the pizza at the Manchester United manager only until last night when Fabregas appeared on Sky One TV Show ‘A League Of Their Own’ confessing to the ultimate crime when being questioned by presenter James Corden.

Quoted by the Sun, Corden asked:

“Tonight can we finally put the case of the flying pizza to bed once and for all, were you the culprit that threw the pizza?”

After a few seconds of silence and a spotlight glaring at the Blues midfielder, Fabregas shouted:

This got the audience and even panellists on the show crying out with laughter, something that the 30-year-old was proud to admit.

Even Ashley Cole who left Arsenal in 2006 to join Chelsea was happy to see the incident which he revealed in his own autobiography as the Sun reports.

“All eyes turned and all mouths gawped to see this pizza slip off that famous puce face and roll down his nice black suit.”

Despite the joy both Fabregas and Cole had on the night, it wasn’t the same joy that the two had later on in their careers when they won several major honours at Chelsea. Can Fabregas add to his two premier league titles and league cup title this season? Let’s hope so!
