According to Sky Sports, Chelsea academy product Ruben Loftus-Cheek will earn his first cap for the England senior side against Germany on Friday, with Gareth Southgate set to start the 21-year-old against the world champions.
Loftus-Cheek was shipped out on loan by the Premier League champions in the summer transfer window. There will likely have been no shortage of interest in securing his services on a temporary basis, but it was Crystal Palace’s whose pursuit proved fruitful.

He has had the opportunity to showcase his talent at Selhurst Park, and his good performances have not gone unnoticed in the England camp. As per Sky Sports, he’s not set to receive the ultimate honour of being capped for his country.
