Chelsea Twitter had a refreshing reaction to tonight’s team sheet being released. It’s probably got something to do with Callum Hudson-Odoi.
FIINNAAALLLYY! That was the reaction of some, who were delighted to see that Maurizio Sarri actually does know who Callum Hudson-Odoi is. We were beginning to wonder if Sarri spent the whole training sessions in the Cobham smoking area.

Then there were those who felt it necessary to celebrate who wasn’t included, rather than who was. In all honesty, these players did need to know that their starting spot isn’t guaranteed. Maybe this’ll be a wake up call. Though, they’re probably being rested.
No Alonso, no Jorginho, Hudson Odoi starting? What have you done with Sarri?

Though Hudson-Odoi gets his well-earned opportunity, there’s also another youngster who may well have thought he’d have been involved tonight – Ethan Ampadu. The Welshman has remained patient for opportunities, but none have been forthcoming.
