Antonio Conte has been handed another injury headache during the international break.
Soon before the players jetted off for international duty last month, Alvaro Morata hobbled off against Manchester City after pulling his hamstring. N’Golo Kante suffered a similar injury while representing the French national team. As the Premier League champions returned to England to face Crystal Palace, Victor Moses was added to the injury list with ANOTHER hamstring injury.

As the London Evening Standard report, Michy Batshuayi was forced to remove himself from the Belgium camp after sustaining a foot injury. Although this kind of impact injury is not in the same bracket as the aforementioned trio, it is yet another Chelsea player who will be concerning Conte with doubts over their fitness. Batshuayi’s not the only one, either…
According to The Sun, Tiemoue Bakayoko pulled up during Chelsea training at the Cobham training ground with what appears to be another muscle injury. Depending on the severity, this could prove to be a major issue for Conte.

This is becoming tedious.
It’s fair to say that we were fortunate with injuries last season, but they’re catching up with us now. Whether Conte needs to ease the workload in training, or even rotate his starting eleven more frequently. Something needs to be done to protect our players – or we’ll continue to suffer the consequences.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte may need to alter his strategy in order to help prevent further injuries.
