Chelsea shot stopper Thibaut Courtois is adamant the club can earn place in the Champions League next season, The Standard reports.
The Blues slumped to fifth in the Premier League table after the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday. This is along with Liverpool and Tottenham winning their respective matches against West Ham and Crystal Palace at the weekend.
When speaking after the visit to Old Trafford, Courtois insists that even with the turbulent form, the defending champions have enough quality to finish in the top four by the end of the season.
Courtois is quoted by The Standard saying:
“I think we have enough quality as we saw on Sunday and we showed it against Barcelona.
“I think we are a very good team but there are some other good teams around us as well.”

Even with the daunting prospect of facing Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, Antonio Conte’s side must go into the game believing they can win.
If the performance against Barcelona can be replicated, we could well be victorious against the league leaders on Sunday.
