Chelsea winger given formal warning by FA for offensive social media activity

The FA has officially issued a warning to Chelsea bad boy, Kenedy according to BBC. The FA have informed him that the warning will remain in his record and any similar offence will lead to a charge.

The Brazilian posted a story on Instagram with the caption “Porra China”, which translates as “F*** China” while on tour with the Chelsea squad in the Asia according to Daily Mail.

Apart from that, he also posted a photo of a sleeping security guard and captioned it “Acorda China Vacilao”. It literally translates to “Wake up China idiot” in Portuguese.

Chelsea issued an apology on the official club website and sent Kenedy back to London from the tour. Kenedy too apologised for actions to those who were offended by it.

Reports in The Mirror suggest that Newcastle United and Swansea are interested in taking him on loan. He’s not seen as a part of the squad by Antonio Conte and a with Tammy Abraham already on loan at Swansea, a move to the Toons looks likely.
