Who on Earth is Mike Pejic?

As Goal report, the former Stoke City, Aston Villa and Everton left-back (what a glittering C.V that is), has some very strong words to say about Chelsea skipper Gary Cahill.

Goal quote Pejic, who does not hold back while giving his opinion on the decorated Chelsea centre-back:

“I felt sorry for him [Butland] having to play behind a player like Gary Cahill, one of the worst defenders I’ve seen in one-v-one situations. He gets so easily exposed and it was him, as much as David Luiz, who needed the protection of a three-man defence in that Chelsea rearguard last season.”

Pejic goes on to suggest that Cahill does not deserve his Premier League winners medal, and he should instead give it to manager Antonio Conte, as Goal report:

“Chelsea boss Antonio Conte deserves a medal – possibly Cahill’s title-winning medal – for spotting so quickly that Luiz and Cahill needed such protection.”

Let’s circle back for a moment, since joining Chelsea in the winter of 2012, Cahill has won six major trophies – two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Europa League, as well as the FA and EFL Cups. What did the illustrious Pejic win during his 12-year footballing career? The League Cup, congratulations, even Tottenham have won that four times.

Pejic should, in future, stay in his lane. Here’s a photo of Cahill lifting the Premier League title, having featured in 37 of our 38 league games.

Who is this guy that talk a load of bull. He should stick his comment whether good or bad to a place in his body where only his b/f can go
