Former Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo has urged Tottenham striker Harry Kane to join Chelsea, report the Express.
If there is anyone qualified to discuss strikers – it’s Crespo. We were lucky enough to have him for a short time at Stamford Bridge, he well and truly established himself as one of the greatest strikers ever to grace the game during his time in Italy.
The Argentine has been discussing Spurs talisman Harry Kane during an interview with the Express, and he believes that the England international could benefit from a move to Stamford Bridge:
“Kane needs to help the team win trophies and to do it with Tottenham would be great. He tried to do it last year and didn’t. If it doesn’t happen, Harry Kane must change. He must. He must move to win, to a big team, to Chelsea, although Chelsea would be difficult.”
At the time of writing, Kane is widely considered one of the best strikers on the planet, and rightly so. He has won back-to-back Premier League Golden Boots, and the mere thought of Chelsea signing him is mouth-watering.
However, there is little chance that Spurs chief Daniel Levy would give the green light to his sale, especially not to us. Kane ever pulling on a Chelsea shirt is probably only possible in your FIFA career mode.
