‘It looks like a 4-2-3-1’ – Chelsea fans react to starting line-up against Leicester

On the back of an unconvincing 1-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, Chelsea’s second consecutive match on the road will be a stern test of the side’s abilities on big match days.

The team news is out and it will seem to bring about a sigh of relief among the Chelsea faithful, with Callum Hudson-Odoi back in the starting eleven on the right-wing alongside Christian Pulisic on the left-wing, who makes his 50^th appearance for Chelsea across all competitions. Tammy Abraham seals his spot as the central striker with Timo Werner missing out, as does Hakim Ziyech in the front three.

Kai Havertz returns, pairing up with Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount in midfield – as Billy Gilmour is benched and N’Golo Kante misses out with a hamstring injury.

Reece James makes his way back as the right-back tonight as Ben Chilwell accompanies him on the opposite flank. Kurt Zouma is benched as Rudiger and Thiago Silva are the chosen centre backs.

Edouard Mendy will make his 15^th appearance this season in the Premier League for Chelsea.

Andreas Christensen is available after a knee-injury lay off and may see some minutes as a substitute.
