Chelsea Academy player Jay Dasilva has signed a new contract with the Premier League champions, according to the official ChelseaFC website.
Dasilva, 19, has signed a new deal which will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2021 as Chelsea continue to show faith in their young players by offering them new contracts.
Earlier this month, it was announced on the club’s website that Tammy Abraham penned a new five-year contract with the Blues after enjoying a successful loan spell at Bristol City.
Like Abraham, the left-sided player has secured a loan move away from Chelsea for next season. He will return to Charlton Athletic where he spent the second half of the 2016/17 campaign on loan.
During his time at Charlton, Dasilva made ten appearances for the Addicks.
The 19-year-old has had great success with the Chelsea Academy squad, winning the FA Youth Cup three times and also the UEFA Youth League twice.
Earlier this month, the Chelsea youth player captained the England Under-19 side which was victorious in the European Championship final.
