Chelsea’s post-season business may not go according to plan with Don Balon suggesting Marco Asensio will push to stay at Real Madrid.
Asensio, 22, is one of the hottest talents in Europe and murmurs that he could be on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu has brought the attention of the Blues.
However, Don Balon reports that Asensio would be keen on staying at Real Madrid but there are three conditions. The Spaniard wants a greater role in the squad along with a wage increase and no signings that would threaten his place in the team.

The midfielder’s demands are a great example of player power in modern football. The 11-time Champions League winners may feel that this is too excessive which would frustrate Asensio.
With Eden Hazard’s future at Chelsea still not clear, this could influence the Blues to snap up a promising player despite his reluctance to depart the Spanish capital.
