Nathan Ake has praised Andreas Christensen’s development as he has become a regular at the Blues, The Standard reports.
Antonio Conte has rewarded the Dane with several opportunities to showcase his talent this season.
When speaing to The Standard, Ake who left Chelsea for Bournemouth in the summer isn’t surprised with the level Christensen is at.
Ake is quoted by The Standard saying:
“Everyone knew, also at the Academy, how good he (Christensen) was. And when he went on loan he done really well.”
Christensen the perfect example for Chelsea youngsters

Not only with Chelsea but for most big clubs in Europe, it’s hard for academy players to make that step to the first team.
Christensen has not only played well on the pitch but he’s been professional off it. Players like Charly Musonda and Kenedy can learn from the 21-year-old who have been controversially involved in social media recently.
It’s sad that for Ake his time at Chelsea came to a surprise end. However, the Dutchman could return to us in the future.
