Chelsea winger Pedro will return home from Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the far east after sustaining an concussion against Arsenal on Saturday afternoon, according to the Daily Mail.
As the Daily Mail report, Pedro was involved in a nasty looking collision with Gunners goalkeeper David Ospina during Saturday’s game, and the tabloid note that he suffered facial injuries and a concussion.
Pedro posted the below update from his hospital bed, suggesting that all was well and that there was no lasting damage done.

However, the Daily Mail claim that Pedro will play no further part in the Premier League champions tour of Asia, and will instead return to London for further tests and treatment.
It remains to be seen whether Pedro will be sidelined for a while, or will be able to regroup with the squad upon their return to Cobham. However, with Eden Hazard already out injured, this will undoubtedly be a major concern for Antonio Conte.
