Chelsea defender full of positive vibes for Alonso ahead of move
Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf was on his usual ESPN slot speaking about Alonso, and like most pundits he thinks it will be a superb appointment if the coach is given the control he’s been promised:
“When it’s about the field, Xabi Alonso should be the only one in charge, and hopefully they’re gonna understand that,” the former Chelsea defender said.
“I’m very pleased that they picked Xabi Alonso. Congratulations to them, good call, I’m pretty sure Xabi Alonso will do very well if he has the control.”
