Chelsea’s starting eleven to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg has been confirmed – and Callum Hudson-Odoi starts!
Hudson-Odoi has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, and there has been claims today that Bayern Munich have submitted an offer matching our valuation for the young Englishman.
His reasoning for stalling over a contract extension was believed to be linked to his playing time, or rather lack thereof, so his inclusion in the starting eleven in such a huge game for us speaks volumes.
Eden Hazard starts through the middle, with two-goal Alvaro Morata not even making the substitutes bench. Willian is elected to start on the opposite flank ahead of Pedro.
The rest of the team is essentially full strength, with Andreas Christensen’s inclusion ahead of David Luiz the only notable change. Ross Barkley is picked in the third midfield position ahead of Mateo Kovacic.
Here’s how both teams lineup in full. What do you think, Blues? Let us know your thoughts @TalkChelsea, where you will also be able to follow our match coverage.
