Tiemoue Bakayoko put in another dire showing against Reading today, one that must surely spell the end of his time at Chelsea.

After a horror debut season, the Frenchman was given a surprise reprieve and chance this time round with the transfer ban stopping Chelsea bringing in new players. Still, the fact that we were able to sneak in Mateo Kovacic through the back door, and the fact that we’ve got so many talented young players too, means Baka is as far from the first team as ever.

Not only that, but his non home-grown status makes him less useful than ever for squad filling purposes.

We expect to see him loaned or sold very soon, to a mid-ranking club. But if he continues playing like this, his prospects will dim significantly. It’s hard to imagine the rumours about a PSG move, as claimed here in the Sun, are true, and even if they were, if they were watching him misplace passes against Championship opposition today, they may be rapidly losing interest.

We hope for his sake that like Alvaro Morata, a move can do him good.
