Both Milan clubs have been linked with interest in Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez. The Daily Express are among the publications hinting that there may be transfer offers made for the former Barcelona man this summer.

That seems very possible, but as it stands we can only see Chelsea responding with rejections.

At the moment, they are set to sell Eden Hazard to Real Madrid for big money and you can have a free sports bet no deposit on this transfer happening. That will leave them a winger short, unable to replace him because of the transfer ban. Christian Pulisic is arriving to reinforce that position – but he is only one man.

Selling both Pedro¬†and¬†Hazard would leave this squad short, despite the emergence of Callum Hudson-Odoi. As we’ve seen many times this season, you need 4 wingers to rotate in those two spots.

Willian, CHO and Pulisic would simply not be enough to cover that for a whole season. One injury would mean no cover, and bear in mind one of those guys is 18 and the other will be in his first season in this country.

So if Pedro leaves this summer you should be happy – because it must mean that Hazard is staying, or the transfer ban has been lifted.
