Maurizio Sarri needs to be sacked, it’s never been clearer than it is right now.
When Sarri arrived at the club in the summer, excitement was in the air. Those clued up on Italian football spoke of of ‘Sarri-ball’ and how it will revolutionise this football club.
It’s pretty clear to see now that it’s a complete and utter myth.
If ‘Sarri-ball’ means dominating possession for 45 minutes, boring the life out of your own fans and then being hit on the counter-attack – then yes, your plan has been perfectly executed, Maurizio.
We as fans have oftentimes been frustrated when Roman Abramovich has swung the axe and fired our manager before he has been given a good enough chance to turn it around. This case is different.
Sarri is merely a misfit, just as players you sign on the market often are. His footballing philosophy just does not compute with the squad we have at this current time. It’s not working.
When you factor into the equation that we have a transfer ban coming up and Sarri will not be able to fill the squad with players capable of playing his football – it looks bleak for the Italian.
Chelsea need to take action. We’re still within reach of the top four and competing in the Europa League. We can still turn this into a good season, if Sarri is sacked and a new manager appointed before the end of the international break.
Hire someone who will know how to get the best out of this squad. Steve Holland is the ideal candidate, if the FA will let us have him until the end of the season. Get us our own Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It is not in our nature to call for a manager to be sacked. We will always back them until til the last possible moment – but that time has now come, and action needs to be taken.

I’m not pro Sarri but our club has serious problems off the pitch as well. Sacking Sarri without addressing the lack of direction from the board is pointless in the extreme.
Well said and its true but considering the unresolved issues with Conte, it will be difficult to sack Sarri at the moment and that is the problem. If Roman can pay Conte the 9m(which he deserve) then he can sack sarri and zola and bring in Holland as an interim… Read more »
