Pedro has made an excellent start under Maurizio Sarri.
The Spaniard looked bright from the very first game of preseason, and he’s now scored in both Premier League fixtures to keep up that sparking form.
It seems like having a full preseason, and not playing in the World Cup, has meant the winger has come back in great condition. It also looks like the system he’s playing in now is helping him too.
The Spaniard is always looking to use his pace to run in behind, and that came to fruition against Arsenal when he outstripped their defence to put himself in the perfect position to slide home Marcos Alonso’s cross.
Now that Eden Hazard is fit, it will be a straight battle between Willian and Pedro to play on the right flank.
As it stands, there’s only one person winning that battle. That spot in the team is Pedro’s to lose.
