Chelsea face West Ham on Monday night, with the chance to make it 9 points from 9 in this easier run of games.

That would really set us up nicely for the run in, as we said in the lead up to it. Things get a lot tougher after that, but we’ll have something to fight for.

The game against West Ham sees us face a really inconsistent team that has little to play for. That should make us heavy favourites, but we’ve been even shakier than them recently.

Just because we played well and beat Brighton at home in the week, let’s not forget we deserved to lose against Cardiff at the weekend. The different between those two games will be what makes the difference for us again on Monday we think – playing at home.

We take on the Hammers at Stamford Bridge, and given we’ve got everything on the line and they have nothing really at stake, it’s no surprise we’re favourites. But as we’ve seen so often with this team this season, confidence is a fragile thing.

If we concede a soft goal early on, there’s no telling how badly things could go as we try and chase an equaliser.
