Leonardo Bonucci made the shock switch from Juventus to AC Milan in the summer.

Antonio Conte is set to reshuffle his back-three this summer, and Kurt Zouma could be a victim of it, according to the London Evening Standard.

The Standard report that Conte is in the market for a new centre-back, and has identified Virgil Van Dijk and Leonardo Bonucci as his top two targets.

As per the Standard, the arrival of either of the two at Stamford Bridge is likely to see Zouma become the latest to join Chelsea’s vast loan army. The paper note that Lyon and Nice have both expressed an interest in signing Zouma, but the Frenchman appears to be content to stay and fight for his place in Conte’s squad.

The Standard note that Andreas Christensen, who has established himself as one of the most promising young defenders in the world during his two-year stint at Borussia Monchengladbach, will join up with Conte’s squad for pre-season.

Chelsea’s sturdy defence may have been the foundation of our success last season, but it looks as though considerable changes could be made this summer.
