Atletico Madrid are plotting a €40M (£35.7M) summer move for Chelsea winger Pedro, according to Don Balon.
Pedro played a starring role in Chelsea’s title triumph last season. He fitted like a glove into Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 system – but has been in and out of the side this time around.
Conte has opted to change to a 5-3-2 formation, fielding Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata through the middle and subsequently leaving Pedro out of the side.

As per Don Balon, this has left Pedro considering a return to his native Spain in the summer. It is claimed that Atletico, who are forcing Barcelona to fight for the La Liga title this term, are interested in signing Pedro.
The report claims that they are prepared to part with as much as €40M (£35.7M) to secure Pedro’s services. With the Spanish international turning 31 in the summer, that’s an offer that the Premier League champions would be wise to entertain.
