Pulisic has been linked with Chelsea for several months now. He appears to be a target for the club, rather than Maurizio Sarri, and it’s clear to see why that would be.
Chelsea have toured in the states several times over the past few years in hope of growing our profile out there. Signing the country’s greatest footballing Hope would be a significant step towards achieving that.
That’s not to say that Pulisic wouldn’t be a great signing for us in footballing terms, however. Pulisic has the potential to be one of the best wingers on the planet, and for a reported €50M, it could prove to be a great deal.
Rather than seeing this as a roadblock in Callum Hudson-Odoi’s route to the starting side, we ought to be excited at the prospect of having both of them on the flanks in the future.
