The Sun believe that Chelsea and Arsenal are both interested in signing one of the surprise stars of the 2017/18 Premier League campaign.
The man in question is Watford’s Brazilian starlet Richarlison. The 20-year-old has already scored five Premier League goals during his debut campaign in one of Europe’s top five leagues. He really has taken to life in England’s top-flight like a fish to water.
Richarlison has the physical attributes and killer mentality that we all adored in Diego Costa. Perhaps he could be the man to replace the influence that we have lost since Diego’s departure.
As per The Sun, the Blues are very much in the hunt to sign Richarlison, but we face stern competition. The tabloid claim that Arsenal are also keen, with both sides already making contact with his agent ahead of a potential move.
Pedro and Willian will eventually need to be phased out to make room for new blood, and Richarlison could be just the man to dampen the blow of their departures.
