Enzo rises up Real’s list as PSG targets prove impossible
Florentino Perez has crushed dissent once again, and now needs to make a splash to show his voters they made the right decision. A dream deal would be to land one of PSG’s stars, to show that Madrid are still top of the pile in terms of prestige, despite having been overtaken by the Parisians on the field.
But as a long read for the Athletic today explains, that’s not happening: “in midfield, the standout targets were Paris Saint-Germain’s Vitinha and Joao Neves, though neither are considered within reach,” Mario Cortegana wrote.
The solution? Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez is not “under consideration”, and we all know he would be for sale at the right price. We expect negotiations to get pretty serious.
