Chelsea are reportedly anticipating an offer from Manchester United for Willian to come in imminently.
As the Express report, Chelsea are thought to have rejected a £50M offer from Barcelona for Willian. With so long left in the transfer window, and interest in signing him so seemingly high, it would be absurd to accept an offer at this point.
The report also mentions interest from Manchester United. Jose Mourinho is known admirer of Willian, and he looks to be keen on reuniting with him at Old Trafford this summer. United and Chelsea did business over Nemanja Matic last-year. Nothing’s out the question.
The Express believe that Chelsea are braced to receive an even bigger bid for Willian, this time from Man United. Though we have thus far shown no willingness to sell, it remains to be seen if our stance will change if that £50M bid is built on considerably. We shall see.
