The Italian press believe that Chelsea could be set to sign two Juventus players this week.
Italian publications have been having plenty of fun with Chelsea in recent weeks. With former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri widely believed to be set to take charge at Stamford Bridge, virtually every player currently competing in Serie A has been linked with a move to West London.
We have little doubt that Sarri will use his home nation as a hunting ground when looking to recruit reinforcements this summer, Antonio Conte did the same. His targets will likely not be confined to Italy, though, he’s a lot more open minded than that.
Two players that could be moving to Chelsea are Juventus duo Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain. According to Tuttosport, the pair could sign for us this week in deals worth a combined €100M.
The report claims that Rugani is the more likelier to put pen-to-paper on a move to Chelsea, but Higuain following him is by no means out the question. Let’s wait and see what happens.
