Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic, and Alvaro Morata may have a role to play in striking a deal.

Pulisic is the most talented player that the USA have ever produced – bar none. Without his influence, they would have fallen even further short of World Cup qualification.

Barring any Freddy Adu-esque collapse of his promising career, the 21-year-old is destined to go right to the top of football – and Chelsea could be set to benefit.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea could look to prise Pulisic away from the Westfalenstadion this summer.

It’s claimed that the Blues are so keen on signing him that we could offer club-record signing Alvaro Morata as part of the deal.

Dortmund are in need of a new centre-forward following the expiration of Michy Batshuayi’s loan, and Morata could be exactly what they’re looking for.

The report also notes that Pulisic is valued in the region of £60M by Dortmund. Bayern Munich are also thought to be keen on securing his services.

Would you be prepared to lose Morata in order to sign Pulisic, Blues? Let us know in the comments.

No. Pulisic is worth more and will be worth more now that USA’s World Cup is coming in 2026. He is just 19 and by the time the 2026 World Cup comes around to America, Pulisic will be 27, at his prime.

That sounds like melody to my ears.
Morata is a waste of money!
