Chelsea have been handed considerable encouragement in their pursuit of Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.
When you think of the best left-backs on the planet, Real Madrid’s Marcelo and former Blue Filipe Luis may well be the first names that pop into your head – but Sandro is right in that bracket.

The Brazilian has not been up to the mark this season, he has been way off the boil in Turin, but that’s not a fair reflection of his talent. His stellar performances at FC Porto earned him a move to Juventus and he’s only improved under the stewardship of Massimiliano Allegri.
However, the Telegraph report that Sandro now wants out of Juventus, which could play into the hands of Antonio Conte. The report claims that the Blues were interested in signing him in the summer, but they were quoted an eye-watering £80M.

The Telegraph believe that he could now be available for just £50M, which is a far more realistic price for us to pay. We ought to get this one over the line as soon as possible.
I’m chomping at the bit here with this news, get him get, him get, get him no matter what it cost.
