Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is on his way to AC Milan, according to The Sun.
Fabregas has been a great servant to the club since signing in the summer of 2014. He has two Premier League titles to show for it, which is something you can’t say about his time at Arsenal.
However, his time as a Chelsea player looks to be drawing to a close. He is stuck behind Jorginho in the pecking order under Maurizio Sarri, and it doesn’t look as though the Italian will be budging anytime soon.
The Sun believe that Fabregas, whose contract expires at the end of the season, is likely to be on his way in January. The 31-year-old is thought to be packing his bags and heading to Milan, and we won’t be receiving much in return.
As per the report, Milan will pay £10M to secure Fabregas’ signature. That’s what we get for allowing his contract to run down to the end…
