Chelsea have been provided with an opportunity to land Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window, according to the Mirror.
Aubameyang is widely considered one of the best strikers on the planet – his goal-scoring record speaks for itself. Chelsea have another of the elite few in the shape of Alvaro Morata, but there is very little in reserve for Antonio Conte to choose from.

Michy Batshuayi has proven himself to be a worthy deputy for Morata, but Conte continually shuns the Belgian. No matter how he performs during the limited opportunities he is given, he finds himself straight back among the substitutes.
Could Conte look to the market?
As per the Mirror, Conte is in the market for a new striker. The tabloid claim that Chelsea have been offered the opportunity to sign Aubameyang in January.
The Gabon international is reportedly on the market, but it remains to be seen whether Chelsea would be interested in securing his services. Only time will tell…
