Chelsea are set to announce the signing of Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
Fichajes report that the Blues have found an agreement with Bayern to take Sanches on loan for the upcoming campaign, though there is no indication that there will be an option to buy in the summer of 2018.
As per Fichajes, the deal could be announced as soon as Monday, but there is a possibility that it could be held up and will become official on Tuesday.
Now, there are several things in this report that discredit it. To begin with, Fichajes is an unreliable Spanish outlet, reporting on a deal between an English and German club.
Fichajes also cite A Bola, but there is nothing on their website indicating that there is an agreement in place to take Sanches to Chelsea.
This is not to say that Sanches will not eventually become a Chelsea player, but I’d take this report with a pinch of salt.
