Chelsea target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has turned down yet another new contract offer from Arsenal, according to Sky Sports. The English midfielder was offered 180,000-a-week by the Gunners as per the report, but still he has rejected it.

Sky Sports claim that Arsene Wenger held face-to-face talks with Chamberlain yesterday to try and persuade him to stay at the Emirates. However, the player has decided not to pay heed to the ‘sweet talks’ and has decided that he wants to leave.

As per Sky Sports’ reports, Wenger will decide in the next 24 hours if he wants Chamberlain to stay at the club this season and walk away for free next summer or if he wants him sold in the next 7 days.

The report also suggests that Chelsea and Liverpool are waiting on the wings to try and sign him. Sky claim that Chelsea are ready to improve their offer of £30M, which was made earlier this month.

Chamberlain has been capped 27 times by England and, as per Sky Sports, is keen on joining a club where he can play regularly in the starting XI.
