Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic has revealed his desire to play in the Premier League, and the Guardian believe that Chelsea are leading the race to sign him.
Pulisic is arguably the most talented player that his country has ever produced. He alone is a sign of progress in football in America.
Both on the international stage and in the yellow of Dortmund, Pulisic has continually shown the quality that he possesses. The sky really is the limit for the 20-year-old.
Chelsea are always on the lookout for the best young players on the planet, and Pulisic is certainly in that bracket. The Guardian believe that we are interested in signing him, and his willingness to move to England ought to give us some encouragement.
Pulisic is quoted by the Guardian refusing to rule out a transfer to a Premier League side at some point in the future:
“England, the Premier League, is a league where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why maybe one day I won’t play here.”
“As you can see, we are having a great year at Dortmund and I am enjoying every moment of that. Then when the time comes for me to talk in the breaks about my future, then that’s when those things happen.”
What do you think, Blues? Would he be a good signing, or would his arrival spell the end for Callum Hudson-Odoi? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter @TalkChelsea.
