We have been given the clearest indication to date that Robert Lewandowski’s proposed move to Chelsea this summer is not just a pipe-dream.

The Blues have been continually linked with a move for the Poland international in recent weeks, but many of us didn’t believe that we could pull it off. We’re talking about one of the best players in the world here, and we don’t have Champions League football to offer him.

Whether or not we are able to attract Lewandowski to Stamford Bridge or not remains to be seen, but one thing appears certain – he’s on his way out of Bayern Munich this summer.

Reliable SportBild journalist Christian Falk revealed on Twitter that Lewandowski’s agent had told Bayern it’s time for a change of scenery. His agent,┬áPini Zahavi, has close links to Chelsea and Roman Abramovich.

Don’t go and get his name printed on your shirt just yet, but there’s a glimmer of hope…
