The full worth of the deal to take Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao to Chelsea has been revealed by the Telegraph‘s Matt Law.
Arrizabalaga is a long-term acquisition. He’s only 23-years-old, thus could fill the void between the posts at Stamford Bridge for the coming decade.
We thought that Thibaut Courtois would be the man to do that, hence why we sacrificed club legend Petr Cech. Courtois allowed his contract to run down, though, and left.
Chelsea appear to have learnt from their mistakes, with Kepa signing a seven-year contract. The total worth of the deal, including transfer fee and wages, could amount to £141.6M, as per Matt Law
Kepa earning more than £190K-a-week at Chelsea is the true reflection of our desperation, rather than the transfer fee we paid for him. Unfortunately, we were left with no choice but to bow to his demands.
If he stays here long-term and fulfills his full potential, it’ll be a small price to pay!

Should we call him Tom?
No matter how good he is or becomes it is all relative … it’ll never be a small price to pay !
The football world has gone totally mad !
