DEADLINE DAY: Chelsea have agreed terms with TWO clubs for the loan of striker Michy Batshuayi. The ball now very much appears to be in the Belgian’s court.
Michy Batshuayi’s future should have been sorted by now, in truth. It was clear at the beginning of the month that neither he nor Valencia were particularly interested in seeing the loan run until the end of the season, as it was arranged back in the summer.
However, we sit here on the 31st of January, with Batshuayi anxiously waiting to see if he will be able to leave the Estadio Mestalla today. Thankfully for the Batsman, offers have finally come in that will see him provided with an escape route out of the city of Valencia.
News has broken which claims that both West Ham United and Real Betis have had offers accepted to loan Batshuayi until the end of the season. The decision is now in Batshuayi’s hands – which move is most likely to spark the revival of his stuttering career?

In West Ham he’d have the opportunity to move back to England and show Chelsea why he still deserves a chance, while Betis would be geographically easier to arrange at such late notice. The clock is ticking, Michy, it’s time to make your mind up!
