Manchester United are set to launch a deadline day bid to sign Chelsea winger Willian, according to The Sun.

As The Sun report, Jose Mourinho already raided his former employers earlier in the transfer window, signing Nemanja Matic for what the tabloid report to be a £40M fee.

The Sun claim that Mourinho is set to return to Stamford Bridge for Willian. It is reported that Chelsea are likely to demand a fee in the region of £35M for the 29-year-old.

Willian is a player that could be considered expendable if a suitable replacement was brought in. However, Matic has moved to Old Trafford and has directly improved their starting eleven, we cannot afford to make the same mistake again.

It is late in the transfer window, there is little time to replace him, Chelsea would be much better off keeping Willian for ourselves and out of the grasp of Mourinho.
