Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Chelsea midfield general Nemanja Matic, according to Manchester Evening News.

Manchester Evening News believe that Matic wants to move to Old Trafford this summer, where he would be reuniting with former manager Jose Mourinho. It was Mourinho who brought Matic back to England in January 2014, and it proved to be a shrewd acquisition.

Mourinho appears keen to sign Matic once again, and Manchester Evening News believe that the Serbia international has already verbally agreed personal terms with the Red Devils ahead of a shock switch to Chelsea’s Premier League rivals.

Manchester Evening News report that now United have to agree a fee with Chelsea, who are likely to be more willing to part with Matic once they have secured an adequate replacement.

The last player who made the move fro Cobham to Carrington was Juan Mata, and on reflection, we may well have made a mistake in selling him.

How many players have crossed over from old Trafford to the bridge? I hate seeing Chelsea players in red, Mata is still paining me, then this. We ll ad well regret it. We keep selling to them when they will never see to us, check the chicharito and Rooney example.
