Michy Batshuayi is determined to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place, according to Daily Mail. The Belgian striker was previously linked with a to Lille and West Ham by the English publication, as noted in the report.

The speculation came into light after the striker scored a late own goal in the match against Tottenham. Luckily for him, Marcos Alonso scored later to win the game for the Blues.

However, the Daily Mail report that Batshuayi has no intentions of leaving the club and is willing to stay and fight Alvaro Morata for the starting role. The striker failed to make an impression in the 3-2 defeat at home to Burnley and Antonio Conte decided to go with Morata up front against Spurs.

Fuel was added to this fire when TransferMarketWeb reported that Chelsea were considering signing Torino striker Andrea Belotti by activating his €100M release clause.

Apart from Belotti, Chelsea have also been linked with a shock move for Jamie Vardy by Telegraph. They have also linked Chelsea with Swansea striker Fernando Llorente as Chelsea hunt for a Diego Costa replacement.
