Chelsea target Nabil Fekir’s agent has suggested that his client’s proposed move to Liverpool this summer may still materialise.
Fekir looked on the verge of moving to Anfield after the Reds agreed a fee with Lyon for the transfer of his services.
However, the deal collapsed at the eleventh hour, leaving Fekir in limbo and without his desired move to the Premier League.
There had been suggestions that Chelsea could take advantage of the situation and look to sign Fekir themselves, but no concrete move has been made by the Blues.
Instead, Fekir may still be set to become a Liverpool player this summer. His agent has strongly insinuated as such.
Nabil Fékir’s agent Jean-Pierre Bernes tonight on French TV on why his client didn’t sign for Liverpool: “Um he didn’t sign because um… it is not over! This is not the end of the story.”

With Liverpool already recruiting Fabinho and Naby Keita, signing Fekir would represent a complete makeover in the middle of the park.
Once again, Chelsea find themselves in dire need of doing business in fear of falling further behind their rivals.
