Chelsea are thought to be interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, but he has no intention of leaving the Nou Camp anytime soon.
Coutinho is an obvious name to be linked with Chelsea amid speculation that Eden Hazard will sign for Real Madrid in the summer. The Brazilian is extremely talented, Premier League proven and hasn’t successfully adapted to life at Barcelona, prompting suggestions that he could leave the club prematurely in hope of finding a fresh start.
Chelsea would be banking a hefty sum if Marina Granovskaia gave the go-ahead for Hazard’s departure. That’s money that we could invest into a player like Coutinho, if he’d be interested in making the move to Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately, new information published by the Daily Mail claims that he is not intending on leaving Barca.
Coutinho is thought to be intent on making a success of his transfer to Barcelona, despite the fact that he has been unable to perform consistently ever since his arrival at the club. Chelsea will be forced to look elsewhere in our efforts to replace our star man. Alternatively, he could just sign the bloody contract and solve the issue himself!
