Tottenham Hotspur are the bookies’ favourite to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial ahead of arch-rivals Chelsea this summer.
As we reported early on Thursday after the news broke, Martial’s agent has confirmed that his client would like to leave Old Trafford before the end of the summer transfer window.
Martial has been used sparingly by manager Jose Mourinho, and appears to be in the hunt for more regularity in the game-time that he’s being provided.
You’d fancy him to get it with both Spurs and Chelsea, who are both thought to be keen on signing him from United, however improbable it may be that Mourinho green-lights his exit to a fellow Premier League club.
According to Football London, Tottenham are considered frontrunners by the bookies to sign Martial, with Chelsea falling into third place behind Juventus.
